So I really slacked on the calorie counting over the weekend. And the Jillian Michael's thing. But the way I am going to justify it is that my weekends are my time off. So I will be doing the Jillian Michael's before I go to class tonight. I cant wait till class tonight. During class I get to update my blog and write down my most prized recipes. :D
Back to the food issue over the weekend.I know I didnt keep it uder 900 calories but I kept them small portions a little throughout the day. No fast food. No Junk food. But I did go above 900 Calories. D: Booo. Im still really proud of myself though for walking the other morning to go get a drink. It felt very empowering.
So today I have had
BreakFast:
2 packet of peaches and Creme oatmeal: About 300 Calories
And for Lunch I have decided to go to Applebees with all of the men who used to be infatuated with me. This will be interesting.
I dont know what Im going to do for dinner yet. I think I might make something and bring it to school. Just so I can eat at a reasonable time and something healthy. The only food that is around there is fast food. No bueno.
Lunch:
Applebees Spicy Shrimp Diavolo: Under 550 Calories AND Im sharing it with Nathan. <3
Had a light Penne pasta instead. It was quite delish. Nathan and I split it so we had half each. We were stuffed. Its amazing how much food people eat on a daily basis without thinking about it.
Dinner: I have no idea. Nathan and I have been sharing some crackers. Really unhealthy. But I am mainly updating to post some information that i found that I do believe that it can really help:
"Eat only when you hear your stomach growling. It's stunning how often we eat out of boredom, nervousness, habit, or frustration -- so often, in fact, that many of us have actually forgotten what physical hunger feels like. Next time, wait until your stomach is growling before you reach for food. If you're hankering for a specific food, it's probably a craving, not hunger. If you'd eat anything you could get your hands on, chances are you're truly hungry."
